Harvest Network Schools

“Community service is calling, no need for stalling,” The Harvest Network of Schools (HNS) is currently seeking volunteers for the Academic Intervention program to work with scholars to improve their math and reading skills Monday through Thursday from 3:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Do you have time to volunteer in the morning? A breakfast buddy may be the perfect opportunity for you.  The goal is to help 3rd and 4th grade scholars complete their homework every Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.

Looking for opportunities during the day? Volunteers are needed to help support the 3rd and 4th grade classrooms throughout the day, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Duties may vary, but the role is to support the teacher in various tasks.

Each candidate must complete an application, a criminal background check, and have an interview and orientation before they can begin volunteering. HNS is interested in volunteers that are able to commit to one to two days a week in at least one of the opportunities listed above.  If you would like to volunteer at HNS please contact Marquita Butler at 612-876-4033 or mbutler@seed-harvest.org.
