On Saturday, February 18, 2017, more than 150 people of various ethnicities and backgrounds engaged in a serious conversation about race.  Representatives from the Native American, Latino, Hmong, Somali, West and East African, European and African American communities came together, to answer the question of “How can we dismantle the narrative of there  being a  hierarchy of human value based on the false concept of race.”  Participants viewed a powerful video called Cracking the Codes, heard presentations from foundation, city, business, and community leaders, and engaged in 5 different breakout sessions to come up with answers to the question.  For more information, contact:   info@aalftc.org.
